1. In
the course of our research for this
section, we came across an interesting
article that offers 255 things you can do
with vinegar! For example, did you know
you can use vinegar for indigestion,
cleaning up diesel or other petroleum
smells and stains, head lice, - and the
list goes on and on and on 255 times.

We didn't count them all but baking soda

Mopeds, scooters and motorcycles can get
50 to 100 miles per gallon! How does that
compare to you car's gas mileage? For
less than $1,000 you can get a scooter or
used motorcycle and ride your way to big
savings! (Insert Easy Rider theme song
here).
4.
Hybrid cars are the new SUV's when it
comes to fashion in cars. Hybrid cars can
get up to 55 miles per gallon while an
SUV might get 10 to 15. With $3 to $4 a
gallon gasoline prices, SUV drivers are
the most hated vehicles on the road and
the backlash against them is only going
to continue to grow as the price does. If
you have an SUV, trade it in and get
yourself an economically smart, fuel
efficient, environmental friendly Hybrid.
5.
If you can't afford a new Hybrid or
motorcycle, remember that when you drive
your car, you can save gas by: 1. Driving
slower, 2. Slower starts and slower
stops, 3. Keep your tires inflated to
full pressure.
6.
Don't spend 10 to 15 minutes driving
around the store parking lot just to find
the closest parking space to the door.
That's stupid. Just park your car in the
first spot you see, get out and walk in.
You'll save time, gas and get some free
exercise that you probably could use.
7. Don't throw away those
plastic two-quart soda pop bottles when
you can cut the top off and use it as a
funnel. You can also cut the bottoms out
and use them as planters or containers
for loose nails and screws.
8. Throwing away empty
plastic butter bowls and cottage cheese
dishes and then going out and buying
plastic food containers for $2 each is
another stupid thing people do. Save
those empty butter bowls and cottage
cheese containers and use them to store
food in the refrigerator.
9. Instead of wasting
over $100 a year on paper napkins and
paper towels, use cloth napkins and
towels to wipe your mouth and clean up
your messes. Throwing away paper napkins
and towels is throwing money away.
10. If you have a hobby,
or are thinking about starting a new
hobby - turn into one that can pay you
money. If you like to work with wood,
make things you can sell at a craft fair
or flea market. If you like to paint,
learn how to make your own frames and
sell your art online, or on commission in
stores. If you don't make anything,
that's okay. You can still teach others
about your hobby and charge them for the
lessons.
11. American society has
become a grotesque, fat dragon that blows
fire on money and consumes everything in
site. Materialism and going in debt up to
your eyeballs have actually become
admirable traits. In your face
advertising, salesmen and check out
clerks with more sales pitches are
screaming at you to BUY! BUY! BUY! so
they can get your money. But it's your
money, not theirs. You should keep as
much as you can and invest it. You have
the right to say "NO! - No, I don't
want it. No, I don't need it, and PLEASE
LEAVE ME ALONE!"
